Transforming the culture of sexual health and wellness on HBCU campuses

The HBCU Wellness Collective trains Black students on Historically Black College & University (HBCU) campuses to become sexual health educators and equips students with the knowledge, resources, and confidence to navigate their sexual wellbeing.

We envision a future where all Black people thrive in their sexual health and well-being, empowered by comprehensive, culturally relevant education and resources.

Our Model

Comprehensive Training

The Collective recruits and trains HBCU students to become peer sexual health educators on their campuses. Students host events, distribute sexual health resources, and work to normalize conversations and combat stigma around sexual health.

Peer Education Networks

Peer educators across campuses are connected via peer education networks to allow them to build community, share knowledge and create a nationwide movement for sexual health and wellbeing.

Advocacy

Peer educators and HBCU students are empowered to advocate for progressive sexual health policies and increased resources on their campuses, in their cities and beyond.
